Beautiful Autumn Wedding in Springfield Missouri
Last Saturday was a beautiful 60 something degrees in Springfield, Missouri, and pretty much the most perfect weather anyone could ask for. Rachel and her girls got ready at an adorable Airbnb on Commercial Street, while Drew and the guys were at the brewery just down the road.
Will and I woke up early Saturday morning, grabbed some pre-wedding coffee at the coffee shop below our hotel room and chatted about things that we wanted to make sure and capture for Rachel + Drew’s big day.
Rachel and I have known each other since high school where we played volleyball and basketball together. We were both total goofs back then. (I have the throwback photos to prove it.)
When she asked me to do her wedding and engagements I was over the moon excited to be a part of capturing her wedding day. Her and Drew’s engagements were so fun and adventurous. I knew her wedding day would be the same. Rachel let me know of the things most important to capture, namely her brothers, Drew’s family, and the people that they are closest to. The bond that these two share with their family was beautiful to witness.
From the first look with Dad to the very end of the day there were more laughter and tears than I could count. You could tell how much love surrounded this couple.
Rachel was glowing! Her wedding was full of light, laughter, and dreamy candlelight. Her fall wedding was accented with Duke blue, white ranunculus, peonies, and hints of wedding sparkle.
