William and I arrived in Portland a few days early to enjoy some hiking and sightseeing before Colby and Carson’s Wedding this past Monday. Time flew by and before we knew it Monday had arrived.
It was a beautiful sunny day at the Old School House venue in Newberg, OR. We were so excited to continue capturing this couple’s love story and adventures on their wedding day. I first met Carson her Freshman year at OC when her aunt had asked me to take some photos of her. We had a lot of fun at the park capturing memories of her first year as a college student at Oklahoma Christian University. One of her friends, now bridesmaid even joined in on the fun!
Next thing I know, we are grabbing coffee and talking Wedding Details!!! It was so fun to capture their engagements here in Oklahoma and get to know them as a couple and then follow them out to her home in Oregon for their wedding!
I honestly couldn’t have been more honored to get to know Carson and Colby. Their day was filled with intentionality and pure joy.
They both shared in their fair share of tears as well, as they said their vows under the orchard trees. Their day was not only unique and beautiful but full of everything that made them, THEM!
It truly was one of those weddings that I’ll never forget. You can see the joy in their faces and in their loved ones who surrounded them and celebrated their beautiful “I dos!”
Their first look in the orchard
She went barefoot until the reception where they did a foot washing ceremony.
What an incredible day with an incredible couple, these are just a few of the amazing moments we captured on their wedding day! I can’t wait to get to editing the final gallery and share it with them!
If your interested in viewing the final gallery, please contact the bride and groom. They will be able to send you a link where you can view, download images and even order prints!
Would do it all over again. Thanks Colby and Carson it was a perfect day!
